In a 2026 Interview with Trevor Grassi and Veda Austin (1) Dan Willis described how Marcel Vogel once performed an experiment in Northern California with wine. By letting rather bad wine flow past a crystal, the quality of the wine would have improved to such a degree that it turned into an award wine, as Dan says.
