On the website of Dan Willis (1) we come across an intriguing finding, namely that of a crystal that looks a lot like a Vogel Crystal in an ancient chamber in a rock formation. What is this all about?
In the 1970s a group of hikers discovered unusual artefacts within an obscure canyon in the US state of New Mexico. After a few decades rockslides exposed some entrance to hidden caverns, where 23 chambers were uncovered, and they were filled with all kinds of mysterious artefacts.
In one of those chambers an artefact was found that looked a lot like the Vogel Crystal that Marcel Vogel had designed in the 1970s. This artefact, however, would have been 1200 years old! How could a Vogel like crystal already exist in the early Middle Ages?
