While searching for some more information on how hydrogen atoms could be influenced by crystals (1) I ended up in one of Marcel Vogel’s lab notes (3), which he started with a reference to a certain Dr. Charles Littlefield. This article sheds some light on this remarkable man who had done some extraordinary thought experiments on evaporating water.
DR. CHARLES W. LITTLEFIELD
Dr. Littlefield (1859-1945) (4) was a physician, surgeon, scientist and writer (5). His most influential books can be downloaded freely and legally at (5,6). Dr. Vogel referred to a particular idea of Littlefield, that can be found in both his books, namely that of a kind of magnetism that would form during the evaporation of water (7). Here’s a quote from his 1937 book (5):
“Evaporation of water, a process universal on sea and land, generates a subtle magnetism which is the vital force of plants and animals. This forces saturates the mineral salts of organic nature making them susceptible to “mental control”, so that any picture that the mind accepts as true in principle may be fixed in them.” (5, p. xxiii)
MENTAL PICTURES
Dr. Littlefield didn’t just theoretically engage with these ideas, but he experimented with them on a grand scale. In Man, Minerals and Water (5) all of the pictures in that book are so-called ‘Mental Pictures‘: pictures that are the result of his own mind visualizing all kinds of things into the remaining salt-crystals in evaporating water.
As far as I can gather from the book all these mental pictures were on a microscopic scale. On top of this article you can see what happened when he visualized a temple. Below you can see how was able to somehow manifest letters from the alphabet in the salt residue of a drop of water!
12 KINDS OF SALTS AND THE USE OF VERBAL PHRASES
When you have time available it might be worthwhile to take a closer look at his books (5,6). There is a lot to be found there, but since this is not a ‘Dr. Littlefield research group’ I will not go any deeper in his work here. I can say that he experimented with 12 salts that also occurred in the human body; the water needed to have body temperature and at times he also added all kinds of verbal phrases while projecting his thoughts into the salt crystals.
CREATING LIFE
In his earlier work Dr. Littlefield even believed that it were possible to create ‘life’ out of the combination of certain minerals. In 1919 he wrote: “…in 1902 I discovered the vital force, and in 1903 I produced the first organisms from minerals with certainty” (6, xx)
SOME REFLECTIONS
The work of Dr. Littlefield provides another example of this concept that somehow our mind is able to ‘project’ its thoughts into matter. The New Zealand researcher Veda Austen has provided us with examples of how she managed to project her mental images into water that was put in the freezer: often her ‘mind images’ could be see in the resulted frozen ‘structured water’ crystals (8).
Some even claim that a Russian doctor, Gennedy Krokhalev, was able to photograph hallucinations of a patients (9)! I think that concept is worth further exploration in a separate article.
